Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH)- Its Approaches to Improve Reproduction in Fish

چکیده
This review briefly highlights previous studies on the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and its approaches to improving fish reproduction in aquaculture industry. Reproductive system dysfunction of captive is main problem that has be treated depending compatibility species. caused by non-synchronized maturation female male broodstock, low quality broodstock. As shown studies, induced breeding with exogenous treatment from specialized hormones could one best cures for this issue. Hormonal treatments have been used farmers overcome reproductive dysfunctions establishing wild or hatchery-based breeding. Although imitation natural condition set up, broodstock spawn naturally problems still occur, hence need hormonal therapy. aims deliver results contributions an established artificial hormone, analogue (GnRHa), treat dysfunction, improve qualities eggs, seedlings, mainly help can industry cultured fishes sustainable production achieve market demand consumption.

Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) Receptor Structure and GnRH Binding
Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) regulates reproduction. The human GnRH receptor lacks a cytoplasmic carboxy-terminal tail but has amino acid sequence motifs characteristic of rhodopsin-like, class A, G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). This review will consider how recent descriptions of X-ray crystallographic structures of GPCRs in inactive and active conformations may contribute to und...

The expression of GnRH (GnRH-I, LHRH) and its receptor as a part of an autocrine regulatory system of cell proliferation has been demonstrated in a number of human malignant tumors, including cancers of the ovary. The proliferation of human ovarian cancer cell lines is time- and dose-dependently reduced by GnRH and its superagonistic analogs. The classical GnRH receptor signal-transduction mech...

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone 1 (GnRH1) neurons control reproductive activity, but GnRH2 and GnRH3 neurons have widespread projections and function as neuromodulators in the vertebrate brain. While these extra-hypothalamic GnRH forms function as olfactory and visual neuromodulators, their potential effect on processing of auditory information is unknown. To test the hypothesis that GnRH modula...
متن کاملPolygenic expression of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) in human?
A non-mammalian lamprey-like gonadotropin-releasing hormone (lGnRH) has been detected in human hypothalami using a combination of immunocytochemistry, high performance liquid chromatography and radioimmunoassay. The hypothalamic distribution of immunopositive lGnRH neurons is similar to that observed for those containing the mammalian gonadotropin-releasing hormone (mGnRH), indicating a possibl...

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) regulates secretion of both of the gonadotropins, luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone. Thus, it is a key hormone for vertebrate reproduction. GnRH was considered to be unusual among hypothalamic neuropeptides in that it appeared to have no direct antagonist, although some neurochemicals and peripheral hormones (opiates, GABA, gonadal s...
